Nicholas Owsley

Nicholas has served as an Associate since March 2017. Since joining Busara, he has worked on projects in Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya on a range of topics including financial behaviors, civic engagement, and the relationship between hormones and social behavior. Nicholas has previous experience in small business development and has worked with the Research Unit in Behavioral and Neuroeconomics to apply behavioral science to public policy, specifically in South African schools. 

Nicholas has a Masters in Economic Development from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
