Phabian has served as a Project Lead at Busara since May 2017. Prior to joining Busara he managed and conducted quantitative experiments that examined how poverty affects social capital using unconditional cash transfers randomly assigned in Western Kenya. He also worked and managed a large-scale wash benefits lab project with Innovations for Poverty Action in Western Kenya. Phabian is mostly interested in understanding Behavioral Economics concepts and their relevance to various project within the organization.
Phabian holds a Bachelors degree in medical lab technology from the Mt. Kenya University.
