Aya is an economics enthusiast always striving to solve problems regarding the economics of development and poverty alleviation.
She joined Busara in September 2018 and her research interests include development economics, applied microeconomics and econometrics. She has specialized in behavioral and experimental economics combined with a solid understanding of econometric policy evaluation.
Before joining us, she previously worked with the Danish Parliament as an Economic Junior Consultant and she has also worked with State Serum Institute as a Junior Data Analyst.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
