Hafsah has been an associate at the Busara Center since 2018. Hafsah has experience as a junior researcher at the Environmental Economic Policy Research Unit, University of Cape Town, conducting research centered around the risk preferences and behaviour of farmers in relations farm technology uptake. She served as the anchor for the Trade, Investment and Competitiveness Policy Commission at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group as well as Business Development Officer at MicroDevelopment Consulting Limited. Prior to joining the Busara Center, Hafsah founded CoAmana Market, a social enterprise that is focused on applying progressive economic instruments to boost market linkages and facilitate exchange with and between business entities in low income communities
Hafsah has an undergraduate and master's degree from the University of Cape Town.
